I can’t say enough good things about Valentina with “X Learning K9s”! She is highly knowledgeable, talented, accomplished, patient, loving, and approachable. I have been to a couple of other dog trainers with my service dog in training, Adele and was left feeling disappointed and quite dissatisfied with these “experts.”Upon our first visit with Valentina, she did a thorough evaluation of Adele and within just a matter of minutes was able to engage Adele in a level of play and confidence building that my previous dog trainers were unable to accomplish.I love that she takes the time to explain the “why’s” and “how’s” of what she is doing so that you are left feeling empowered to tackle your homework assignments while also leaving you excited to come back wanting to learn more for you and your dog.Valentina took the safety and well-being of my sweet Adele personally and handles it very professionally, when an individual showed up on her doorstep to try and claim my dog as their own. Valentina immediately contacted me and the proper authorities while keeping Adele safe and secure,  until the matter was resolved!When Adele returned home to me, she was an incredibly different dog!! Not only did she come back to me highly trained, Adele was once again confident, playful, soulful, and full of life… all things that were stripped from her through the previous bad experiences she went through with her  former “trainer.”Valentina has the expertise and knowledge of dog behavior/ psychology. She can read and identify a dogs problems and knows immediately how to approach and teach each dog according to its specific needs and temperament. A number of  trainers can teach a dog the basics of sit/ down/ stay/ come, but Valentina does so much more than teach basic obedience! She is skilled in everything from helping the most challenging of behavioral problems, to advanced obedience and is even highly skilled at teaching dogs nose work/sent detection in which my Giant Schnauzer is quickly picking up and progressing through with Valentina’s training techniques!!!Most importantly, Valentina has a pure love of dogs and aspires to see the best for you and your canine partner. She does follow up contacts and trainings to ensure that once your dog is home, that you and your dog continue to communicate properly with each other while also being quick to address any questions you may have or problems that may arise.I highly recommend Valentina with “X Learning K9s” to anyone that is truly interested in obtaining the best training and care for their canine companion… be it obedience training for your beloved pet, service dog training, competition obedience training, scent  detection dog training , or for those those in need of resolution of the most severe of behavioral problems in your dog!!You and your dog won’t be disappointed!!!
