K9 Bak is actually my 2nd  K9 from RI K9 Academy.  Bak is Dual certified in tracking andand Cadaver.He is so amazing in the last few years he has been successful in finding both live and deceased missing persons. Roger Reardon is truly an amazing trainer definitely not hard on a dog and has an excellent sense in picking out the right dog. My Bak is so unique you would swear he's half human he will wash his metal bowl and throw it at you when he's ready to eat or throw it in the sink when he wants some water if another dog gets his Kong he will go through it in the water and wash it, I actually have a video of him washing his bowl dunking it with his foot and cleaning it. I have so many stories about this boy, he is the best partner on a search he will stop and wait for you to catch up to him, he hugs everybody he meets male or female.Everybody loves Bak. I am a retired Patrol Deputy,and Private Investigator, I am also the director of South Texas K9 Search and Rescue. I highly recommend Rhode Island K9 Academy, for yournext K9 or next discipline in training. Tammy Johnson

After careful research, my department and I decided to move forward with purchasing a dog and training from Rhode Island K-9 Academy.  I was partnered up with a great dual purpose dog and completed my training in Patrol and EOD.From the start, the entire staff was professional and knowledgeable, the training couldn't be better.  If anyone is looking for quality police dogs and training, this is place.  I cannot emphasize enough how real the training is.  If you want results this is the place.

I recently completed police K-9 training at the Rhode Island K-9 Academy.  They entire staff was very knowledgeable, from the time I was partnered up with my new K-9.The training was under the direction of Roger Reardon.  From day one and throughout the entire school, it was all based on everyday work scenarios.I would definitely use and recommend this company to anyone looking for real trainings with awesome dogs.

Rhode Island K-9 Academy has outstanding training and the entire staff is very knowledgeable.  They selected a working police K-9 for me, I attended a patrol and narcotics training course which was the best training I have had.Master Trainer Roger Reardon gave me exactly what I was looking for in both the dog and the training.  The training I received was completed based on real life street scenarios.  I highly recommend Rhode Island K-9 Academy to anyone involved in any aspect of police K-9.

I had my work trained K-9 trained at Rhode Island K-9 Academy, Inc.  The staff was very helpful and the training was the best I have ever received.I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for high quality dogs and training.
