Hi,

My name is Peter Lee with my 2 ½ yr German Shepard Dog WOOFY.

I am an 80 yr retired Disabled Vietnam Vet Paratrooper and

have trained with Albert for over 10 months.

I met Albert Russell at a dog park where he had training sessions.   

In the past, WOOFY had been socialized with people and got

along with other dogs in the dog parks.  WOOFY

had training with another trainer for VA service dogs. I worked with WOOFY

using there training instructions with problems and limited results. 

The previous training was not effective, as Albert would

explain WOOFY an Alfa dog with strong pray drive tendencies needed specialized

training.   WOOFY was a Velcro dog that

owned me and in new places would act scared and nervous hiding between my legs from

time to time.   Although WOOFY had the basic sit, heel, and

down commands they were not reliable.  

After WOOFY chased a squirrel across a busy road outside our house and

ignoring any recall training, I had to have something done. Albert at the time

had weekly sessions by the dog park and I watched how Albert would get an

untrained dog and without saying a word would have the dog stop when he

stropped, walk by his side and pay attention to him in less than 10min.  It was called pull and release where the dog

would find the comfortable no stress pressure on the collar that the dog finds

himself.   Albert would spend time to

explain dog pack behavior.  How dogs

engage you, causing them to own you rather than you owning them.   A command to WOOFY would be nailed down

solid with Albert’s MARKER training.  

Advanced E collar training started when the MARKER training was

perfected and WOOFY knew his commands. 

Albert training with WOOFY was so effective that there was little need

to use the E collar. You can imagine me with wet eyes giving commands and WOOFY

obeying with solid movements on Albert’s dog obstacle course.  I take WOOFY to my doctor appointments and

shopping as my service dog.   I would like to add that my 2 children 8yr boy

and 13yr girl did not want to play with WOOFY in the pool when they swim, as he

would be unmanageable with rough behavior. 

Now after Albert’s training WOOFY is calm and fun to swim with in the

pool.  WOOFY helps me get up from a

sitting position, pull my wheel chair, gets me my shoes, helps my balance when

at heel, the list goes on.    Thank you
