Carissa, owner of Golden Standard Canine Training, created a very effective training process for our rescue dog, Cooper. We are Cooper’s 3rd owners in 4 years so we expected some behavioral issues. After working with 2 other trainers in the Carbondale, IL area, with limited success (in our specific case), I contacted Carissa.Within in 8 sessions, Cooper and I now have a common language by which we can effectively communicate. And we are learning new “words” on a regular basis. Bottom line. She knows her business. BUT, as a owner You must, In my Opinion , reinforce the lessons when you are back home.
