This rich background laid the foundation for his transition to civilian life in Omaha, where Russ applied his profound knowledge to assist family dogs, Doggie Day Cares, and their staff in understanding and managing canine behavior, significantly impacting the way puppies and family dogs are integrated into homes.Beyond his foundational work, Russ, alongside his protégé Matt Miller and his innovative son Ryan Dillon, has cultivated a diverse array of specialized programs targeting the nuanced needs of service dogs, including those for diabetic alert, oxygen assistance, and PTSD support, among others.
