The knowledgeable and super friendly team truly love the dogs and cats that they get to take care of. The facility is a one-stop-shop with daycare, and grooming for all dogs especially scared ones or first-timers, plus overnight boarding for dogs of every size and age. The daytime hours are filled with all kinds of mental and physical activities with the dogs separated by size and play styles, then the overnighters are secure and safe in their own private spaces. Daly Dog Care accommodates families by keeping up to six dogs in a room for boarding, as well as private suites for cats that are filled with cat trees, toys, and other cat related gear. As far as I’ve seen (and smelled) this facility is the cleanest in the valley with hospital grade cleaners being used to keep the pets healthy and the spaces disinfected. This business also adds “craft days” with paw print paintings sent home with the dogs, daily report cards, dress up pictures on Halloween, and gifts that go home with dogs if they board during any major holiday (last year we got a giant Easter egg filled with dog treats that had our dogs name on it, and a personalized stocking after the Christmas board). Their social media pages are updated multiple times a day with funny and cute pictures and videos of the dogs and cats which is nice to see when we’re away. I also really love that every day my dogs can get an on-site walk or some kind of puzzle toy or a massage or a brushing, which is really inexpensive to add to their stay. As a long term client we’ve been given the option of asking for Premiere Boarding which is when the dogs go to the home of the owners for their boarding which must be really nice for the shy or nervous dogs. Our neighbor also uses this business and their dog is deaf, mostly blind, and has to take daily insulin injections and they have nothing but wonderful things to say about their visits. I was one of many locals who voted for Daly Dog Care in the Bitterroot’s Best 2022 and they won, as they have for years in a row. I also read that they’re one of the biggest supporters of our local non-profit animal shelter. As a dedicated client I love the fact that I can either leave my dogs with them for daycare or for boarding, and when I add a grooming service, my dogs come home happy, relaxed, and clean. I know they’ve been well fed and I know that the staff monitors their water intake, so that my dogs aren’t becoming dehydrated which is really important considering how much playing my dogs do. There aren’t enough good things that I can say about this business and how important they are to the dog families in our area.
